Being a V2 fan since the first day Linden Lab released their first viewer, I have greeted the new Firestorm V2 with a warm welcome as it has some of the features from Phoenix combined with some of the features I love from V2. I have just now downloaded the latest “Phoenix Firestorm-Beta v2.5.2. 16922 from http://www.phoenixviewer.com and going thru their documentation I could hardly believe what I read. If this feature has been available in any other viewers before, please excuse me, then I did not know. But for those of us that blog, here goes:
“Copy outfit your wearing to text option in the worn tab on appearance panel. From gear menu, copy to clipboard.”
This means that you can actually have your worn items come out as text, easy thing to add to your blog posts!
This is how to do it (maybe there are more ways, but this is how I did it):
1. Click on the shirt icon at the bottom of your window, this will make the Appearance Panel show
2. Click the tab “Wearing”
3. At the bottom of the panel window click the little arrow that will give you options
4. Click “copy outfit list to clipboard”
5. Ta daaaaaaa – now you can paste the text into a notecard, your blog or whatever
