New Store in Town

We are very happy to announce the opening of “SHOP & SAVE in Denmark” The new shop is essentially two outlet stores in one – mens fashion by Vanguard and furniture & decor by [SD]

With this economic situation we thought that we would create an outlet store, to give you the most for your money. The outlet offers a unique shopping experience with items priced at just L$40 (no matter what the signs may say). Shoppers can find clothing, caps, chairs, pillows, lockers and more will be added . So make sure to stop by once in a while for more bargains!

Vanguard was created by Working Camel (alt avatar for Aleida Rhode) & Dyce Parx, but they ended the co-operation, thus these items will be sold in the outlet store only. Aleida will be creating more fashion for men and will sell them from her main store.

[SD] is also known as [Scandinavian Designs] by Wipster Baxter.

Both | ALEIDA | and [SD] main stores are next door to SHOP & SAVE in Denmark.

New Feature in Firestorm Viewer

Being a V2 fan since the first day Linden Lab released their first viewer, I have greeted the new Firestorm V2 with a warm welcome as it has some of the features from Phoenix combined with some of the features I love from V2. I have just now downloaded the latest “Phoenix Firestorm-Beta v2.5.2. 16922 from http://www.phoenixviewer.com and going thru their documentation I could hardly believe what I read. If this feature has been available in any other viewers before, please excuse me, then I did not know. But for those of us that blog, here goes:

“Copy outfit your wearing to text option in the worn tab on appearance panel. From gear menu, copy to clipboard.”

This means that you can actually have your worn items come out as text, easy thing to add to your blog posts!

This is how to do it (maybe there are more ways, but this is how I did it):

1. Click on the shirt icon at the bottom of your window, this will make the Appearance Panel show
2. Click the tab “Wearing”
3. At the bottom of the panel window click the little arrow that will give you options
4. Click “copy outfit list to clipboard”
5. Ta daaaaaaa – now you can paste the text into a notecard, your blog or whatever

Awesome, right!?!

Do you want to show your face, your body, your beauty, your talent for decor and your styling skills to the public?
Do you want to stand out amongst thousands?
Do you want to be on ALEIDA’s and SCANDINAVIAN DESIGN’s Wall of Fame?
If your answer is YES to all of the above, then you should read further! ALEIDA and SCANDINAVIAN DESIGNS’s monthly “Show me your closet” modeling contest rules and details are as follows:

~ You must wear at least one clothing item from |ALEIDA|
~ Your picture must be at least 512 x 512 and full perm in texture (no snapshots)
~ You must have one item from [Scandinavian Designs] in the picture – you can use any piece as a decoration or prop; be seated on it or anything that your fantasy leads you to.
~ No nudity or porn.
~ Your picture must not be shot in either of the |ALEIDA| or [Scandinavian Designs] stores.
~ One submission per avatar.
~ Please name your picture “ALEIDA & SCANDINAVIAN DESIGNS Show Me Your Closet Contest- (Your Name)” and post your picture in this Flickr group: http://www.flickr.com/groups/1637100@N24/
